kill2liveman says:

@AutoAnything will this work on a 8.1

mdavis817 says:

hey i have an 04 f150 and i was wondering if the airaid intake would fit
with an airaid throttle body spacer…

AutoAnything says:

@rbanda11 Most likely, yes…. but to answer your question accurately, I
would need to know what engine you have. But the easiest and fastest way to
find out is by clicking the 1st or 2nd link in the video description
(directly underneath the video) and then select your vehicle. Or feel free
to give us a call and we can help you find a product that fits your vehicle
and answer your questions: 800.544.8778

AutoAnything says:

Not sure, but it’s possible that a majority of the power gains were
achieved through the filter and air box, so it wasn’t worth the cost to
engineer a new intake tube.

AutoAnything says:

@kill2liveman to see if this fits your vehicle, just click the link in the
video description (directly underneath the video). There’s a vehicle
selector on that page. Chances are, if this doesn’t fit your vehicle, we
probably have another intake that will. Hope that helps, call us if you
have any other questions: 800.544.8778

Z Savage says:

do this work with a throttle body spacer? cause I’ve heard the K&N intake
doesnt.

Z Savage says:

@AutoAnything I have 01 Chevy Tahoe with 5.3L V8 4X4 LT model. Thanks alot
Ive been asking around and nobodys seems to know or give me the right
answer I appreciate it.

ruben banda says:

i have a 2001 chevy suburban have n do you have a intake for me ?

AutoAnything says:

@Dainon21 You can leave on the stock exhaust…. you’ll typically get more
horsepower when you combine an intake with an aftermarket exhaust, but it’s
certainly not required during installation.

hypekiller187 says:

what about on a 91 c 1500 5.7 350?

AutoAnything says:

Did it have a GM clip or a hose clamp on it? Were you able to remove that?
If so, a little heat could help. Try a hair dryer if you don’t have a heat
gun. Just be careful to not melt the rubber.

@AutoAnything Do You Know If There Is A Cold Air Intake System For A 1999
Oldsmobile Alero, 3.4L

RichardSoullie says:

ya i wanna get one for my 4.3 work truck

Ray Ray says:

Its very cold here in the winter…..how will it work in cold canada
winters??

AutoAnything says:

@deafprun90210 Congrats, glad you like the parts! And it sounds like
they’ll pay for themselves in fuel savings. 🙂

AutoAnything says:

The metal tube looks nicer (to some people), but the plastic intake tube
insulates from heat better, so you’ll typically make more power with it.

Jutt08 says:

i hav a 2009 Chevy Silverado Crew Cab, 5.3L V8. my question is what kinda
of cold air intake would best for it and how much would it cost? thx

AutoAnything says:

@Rayjumpsbaby I can’t think of any reasons why it would present a problem.
Once you get them running and warmed up, engines love cold weather. The
filter and intake tube are similar to stock, just larger and more free
flowing. As for power gains… they might be less noticeable in the winter
time, due to the extreme temperatures, but there should still be some
improvement over stock.

prerunnerlover says:

if i got an air raid cold air intake would my truck still pass smog?? would
it pass the visual part of the test too? i was goin to get a cheap cold air
intake on ebay and it said somthing about not having a sticker on it that
is required to pass smog so i said forget that. would an air raid intake
pass smog????

AutoAnything says:

@mdavis817 Yes, you can put an AirAid intake and throttle body spacer on
the 2004 F150’s without any clearance or fitment issues. This is for both
the Heritage and New Body styles. Give us a call if you’d like to order:

I Live in the state of Texas.

AutoAnything says:

@Jutt08 On this 2009 Silverado, the Airaid intake adds around 12
horsepower, a pretty solid gain from a bolt on intake. Other vehicles can
get up to +20 horsepower, depending on the engine configuration.

AutoAnything says:

@nubie232 I was able to locate the fitment data and there should not be any
fitment issues on your vehicle if you use an Airaid intake and an Airaid
throttle body spacer. Intakes from other brands… K&N, Volant, AFE, etc…
may or may not work, but if you stick with Airaid, you shouldn’t have any
problems installing them together.

AutoAnything says:

Haha, no problem, happy help! Thanks for sharing the video, make sure you

Jutt08 says:

AlwaysTheHeroe says:

Are these street legal in california?

AutoAnything says:

Yes, that is correct. The Pro 5R filter flows a lot more than their Pro-Dry
S filter.
