Lift up on your door.. If it wiggles.. Your hinge pin needs rebuilt.
Yes the striker helps.
Hinge is usually a problem before the striker.
Adjusting the striker will make it easier to close.

Good video! It worked for me but I messed up the pipe the first time I beat on it with a socket. Then I heated up the bolt with a heat gun and the pipe slid right on. Door now closes like new. Why spend ten bucks plus $8 for shipping? Thanks man!
They sell new door strikers for like $8 each on amazon if you didn’t want to make your own ?
