Badboy Hollander says:

Well if you use sealant,!!! For your head gasket replacement. I would tell
you not to work on your own car. THATS WHY ITS CALLED A GASKET HAHA LOL
SOME PEOPLE AND THEIR DUMBASS REMARK,, TO SIMPLE THINGS THAT YOU CAN READ
ABOUT ON LINE OR OUT OF A MANUAL. OH WAIT YOU CANT READ I WOULD GUESS
SHOULD OF STAYED IN SCHOOL FOOL…. FUCKING MORONS!!!!!!! DR.AUTOFIX FULL
SERVICE LLC. NEW MEXICOS ( ABOVE THE REST AUTO REPAIR SHOP)……….

rcs300 says:

the only thing usefull that i noticed in this vid was the bolt order/
ft-lb’s for the heads and intake manifold, you really didnt show anything
about the gasket at all or what sealant to use and all that.

El Cheapo says:

Well, I’d find a push rod to replace it, and if it bends again, figure out
what’s doin it. Bad cam, timing chain, bad valve etc. Then fix that.

Raul Canales says:

If a push rod bends, do you need to replace the heads or just the push rod?

El Cheapo says:

Fair enough. What I did was read the installation instructions for the
specific gasket I bought. You should do that too. Mine only fit one way and
didn’t require any sealant. I didn’t include that in the vid cause not
everyone is gonna use the same gasket. If I said you don’t need sealant,
but your gasket does, then you’d blame me for your damage and cost. Just
tryna make a one size fits all idiot proof vid. Good luck with your install!

El Cheapo says:

Yo! It’s the Haynes Chevy engine overhaul manual.
