"Fix The Car Or GET OUT!" – She Want's Her 1957 Chevy Bel Air BACK ON THE ROAD!

Back from Power Tour and back to the grind!

Job one was getting Dani’s 1957 Chevy back on the road. This is the car that got the channel going a few years ago and holds tremendous sentimental value. Unfortunately I had borrowed parts off this car over the years and it was left un drivable.

Right before power tour I ended up “borrowing” a few more parts for the Nomad. I promised Dani that her 57 would be top priority once we got home! No expense spared, it would be back on the road asap.

Dani reminds me of my girl Mary in a good many ways, rest her soul; she passed nearly ten years ago. Some guys like you and I should be this lucky.

John Suchyj says:

I thought you were going to leave this mostly stock since it was Dani’s. Fender well headers and side exhaust doesn’t seem right for this one. And hood pins! Why?! I don’t see this as a 4 door to 2 door conversion hack job. All I see is a classic Chevy.

Lee Texas says:

Why did you set the idle so high? Shouldn't it be closer to 600 RPMs' ?

About Frigin time!! LOL Running and a bumper! #BuiltByBo

Morgan Adair says:

I used the high pressure oil pumps on the "tired" engines to quiet them a bit. Not so sure why such high idle… I ran with the seven hundred ish areas with all mine because with good oil pressure, not a issue to lower the idle a bit
