How’s the new camera holding up?
Thanks for the video. It was a great help. It would help a lot if you would steady your camera a little.
Why not just take the license plate light housing and press on the camera that way? Just wondering.
My screen just blacks out wen i go in reverse
Hi Steve,
Can u pls advise how to flip the image of the rear back up camera.
Currently the image on my Equinox Lt 2017 has been flipped, that is- the left side is now on the right and vice versa.
My 2017 Equinox Lt doesnt have the options to flip/reverse/correct the image from the display settings
Pls help
Thanks for this video! My 2012 Equinox back up camera suddenly one day just started showing black. We replaced the fuse and its still black so we think the camera went out entirely. I did not want to pay 4-700 dollars for what I consider a luxury function, but I miss my back up camera! I was wondering if we could do this ourselves. With the help of this video I think we can. Much thanks!
Thanks for the video. Had to do this camera replacement on my 2014 GMC Terrain. All went just like you said and I had the whole thing done is about 40 minutes. Dealer wanted $900 and I got the part new on eBay for $45 delivered! Good day indeed. Thanks again for taking the time to make this video.
Jeez, what a pain to get to. Wonder if it's possible to replace the camera with an aftermarket one.
I've seen your other videos as well as this one, we will be at SEMA Thank you for the content
the stock camera is like 60-75 on ebay and elsewhere online.. would be nice to having a diagram of the 6 wires coming from the camera to tap into the right one to replace with an aftermarket camera for around 15-20
Where did you get the replacement camera?
Thanks for making this video! I'm going to try to replace my wife's backup camera and this video is exactly what I needed!! Thanks again!!
