Did you have any white noise (almost as if the gain is too high) coming through the speakers when the truck is off but the headunit is on (volume at 0). Same headunit and harnesses with same Bose system. Even at volume 0, white noise still comes through. Did you run into this problem?
Did you have 3 wires that didn’t tie in to anything?

Just took my same truck (but a 1500) and same exact radio to an audio shop that has a 5 star rating and they told me to return the radio because it will never work in my vehicle,. Guess you would open a 6 star shop because you can do the “impossible”. People are idiots man.
