Awesome video, very detailed, made changing the front brakes cake… now the Craftsman socket set that went from 14mm to 16mm and decided to just omit the 15mm, that was not as helpful, but your video was very helpful, thanks!
I don’t have a Chevy but you are good dude show n tell perfectly
What a crappy design. I made the mistake of buying a Colorado earlier this year, and unfortunately this Rube Goldberg engineering is repeated in other areas as well.
Great vid ez to follow. Mahalo
Where is your axel ?
Every time I go to do my brakes I look for refresher videos. I've never come across a video this perfect before. Spot on! Thank you!
What's the size on the hub bolts?
Just saved me big time. I took off the wheel and caliper and then realized the rotor wasn't held on by 2 bolts. Great vid.
Surprisingly informative video! I'm currently swapping the frame on my Colorado. Trying to soak up all the knowledge I can get!
Why did gm have to do it this way?!
Same as 09 you think?
These front factory brakes lasted me 15 yrs and could have done 2 more..
And I drive it like I stole it. 'Not that I would steal a Colorado if I were to be a thief..' : )

Thanks you got me out of a jam utilized the oil filter hack!
Thank you for your amazing video. It's a life saver. Your step-by-step procedure is clear, concise, and easy to follow. It's a million times better than my Haynes manual.

Awesome video! Big help thank you
Great video….helped me a lot when installing new brake shoes
On a 4X4, its a lot trickier for the bottom hub 15 mm bolt. I had to remove the tie rod to make some room… and all bolts are stuck after 14 years on salt roads. Great vid by the way.
Very informative! Great video!! As an S10 (and Blazer) owner I've looked at a Colorado and wondered about the differences in the brake job. This helps in the purchase I am considering.
Great tutorial video with torque specs. I'm about to change the pads and rotors on my nephew's 2006 2wd Colorado, just like yours. Is blue loctite necessary even though the bolts are torqued to specs? Thanks for the video
This was the best, most informative video I’ve ever seen showing me EXACTLY what I needed to see. Well done! Thank you!
Thank you great video I couldn't have done it without you however my abs fault light is on my dash now. Do you have any help for me?
