Nice job. Now fix the check engine light. I hate seeing that light on. Just one of my pet peeves.

LMacNeill says:

I’m a Ford guy, but to give credit where credit is due, the Chevy 350 is a fantastic engine. Anyone who works on cars needs to know about this engine, because they’re so ubiquitous. And the reason they’re so ubiquitous is the fact that they’re really great engines. Glad to see ETCG working on one, instead of a Honda or a Subaru. 🙂

Ariel Gurgel says:

Dont listen to him, we are here for the great work you do and not for your video editing skills. I believe im not the only one here that think you do us a great service with your videos and runs to your channel whenever in doubt on how to fix something. keep up the great work!

Brent Davis says:

In reference to 19:40 in the video. You should do a video on replacing the blend door actuator. And maybe fixing the gas gauge thats on crack if it has that issue.

HenrifyYourLife says:

Ahahah, wow. Stumbled on your channel a few minutes ago, and I thought the thumbnail for this video looked familiar. I replaced the water pump on a 5.7 a couple months ago. It’s very reassuring to know I wasn’t the only one dropping the screws and gaskets!

Still, I am impressed. This channel in general looks very informative. Keep it up! C:

jokersweet says:

Tallerico500 says:

Mmmm, new shiny parts. 🙂

St. Michael Mazzone says:

Your video editing skills are superb. The best part is the yellow effect when you put on the safety glasses.

Darren Boss says:

Your gloves look so work by the end you might as well not have them on lol 😀

Faber516 says:

Hey Eric how do I bleed the air out of my 09 chevy Malibu it doesn’t have a radiator cap?
Thanks again love the videos

Hack Amore says:

Whew! I thought I fell asleep thru that part.

Gcooper0021 says:

Because the *ding* is irrelevant to what he is trying to portray in the video. People nowadays are way to picky about things that are not important.

PoorManMods says:

yea? whys that?

Gcooper0021 says:

PoorManMods. You are why I hate America.

runespaze says:

you do such a good job at actually showing with the camera what you’re doing

bg147 says:

Hmmm, I replaced my heater core today and did not execute the bleeding process. Everything seemed to be ok.

DALEWHITM says:

How about anouther video on fixing the service engine light that was on.

hondaguy453 says:

Lol, OMG tight

JTheGuitarPlayer says:

You forgot to show the T-stat R&R. And what’s up with that SES light??

Ergaster55 says:

“Couple taps with a hammer will do it” Taps 11 times lol

351cleavland says:

To circulate coolant through the engine and into the radiator.

351cleavland says:

You said “shaft, rag, mating surface and weep hole.”

LiveWire82WV says:

Are you serious…?

FDNYBUS1 says:

Why don’t you change gloves more often?

Patrick Orion says:

res1492 says:

halo alien says:

You need a camera men XD

lspaul92 says:

When I said thread tape I meant the white teflon “tape” (not really tape but in a plastic roll like tape as I’m sure you know). Perhaps you misunderstood me. I’m sure that we both had used teflon “tape” to seal leaking fuel line threads going into carburators and to seal threads on such things as coolant sensors on intake manifolds. Anyway glad to see a return to trucks for at least this video. Here’s a suggestion; change the plugs on an ’05 up Ford 5.4 3valve….perhaps in an Expedition !!!

kenman1717 says:

why not use pipe/thread sealant on those bolts, thats what GM recommends, either way i guess. did you make sure those bolts on the rear cover of the new water pump were tight, have seen those leak, and it actually says in the instructions in the box to do that, not that we ever look at that stuff, lol.

netchecker3 says:

eric you don`t give much about torque it seems to me.

hobie slug says:

why are they making through bolt holes that can leak . I don’t think I’ve ever seen this on Honda’s or Toyota’s. I have a great product for those threads called leak lock I use to use it on bus a/c systems up to 450 psi and held. could hold higher but the a/c wouldn’t cool properly after that

maddbikerboy says:

i have a question my 2000 mustang gt has a problem when i come to a stop light my idle will surge and the car will shut off i brought it to the guy that tuned my car and he messed with the idle air control valve and it sort of fixed the problem do you have any sugestions please respond

bestmastermind951 says:

5.7 chevy engines are awsume!

TheLiberalMachine says:

Eric. Is there any way you can make a video on power steering leaks? And how to fix them? I have lincoln continental 93 and there is p/s fluid leaking on to the exhaust causing smoke.

A2892Z says:

Brilliant video(s) Eric!

Ezzy - Mo says:

Amazing videos! Very helpful in so many ways. Would you ever do a video on installing and wiring off roading lights? I want to install some on my Jeep, I’d rather not pay someone to do it.

Freedomlover55 says:

Hi, what do you think about adding 2T oil into diesel fuel ?

I have been doing this for a while and it improves performance considerably in my CDI engine on my C200 Mercedes. The fuel economy is stellar – about 2 liters to 100 Km in city and the engine runs more quietly.

Is there anything wrong with doing this? I really want to hear the opinion of a proffesional.

charlietow says:

That’s exactly what it is. It helps absorb an dissipate heat. It’s so when you’re driving at highway speed the “clutch” won’t be fully engaged due to the ram air cooling it. and it won’t be robbing engine power that’s not needed. It’d also be loud as hell the faster you’re goin, if it stayed engaged.

rgiaco777 says:

What’s the function of the thing on the front of the clutch fan? It looks like a type of heat sink.

PoorManMods says:

im not complaining at all, i have never had a complaint about any of your videos! Just trying to help a fellow youtuber out 😀

iamdiox says:

30 ft/lbs for the torque spec of the water pump bolt
