Aaron C. says:

Thanks for all the videos. Makes things alot easier knowing what I'm getting myself into before hand. Just a tip from the original service manual- there is a notch on the spring retainer cups that line up with the end of the coil. Book shows end of coil on bottom to inside and end of coil on top to the outside. I just lined mine up where it was the least binding.

Jeremy Cazares says:

Are you replacing one spring at a time? To not cause the whole axle to shift around? I’m about to replace my rear springs, shocks, and track bar.

Is there any way to lower the rear of a 1966 GMC 3/4 ton leaf spring truck 2 inches? Can't find any parts anywhere! Please help!

Don Lewis says:

Ok, I got my lowering put on. 5in in the back. I am waiting on my shocks . When they come in I will put them and the hard pan bar on. After setting it on the ground the passenger side is 1in lower why.

Don Lewis says:

So it took forever to get my springs, still waiting on my shocks. My question is I started to install my new springs and the bottom caps are way to small.Top will work. Do I need a different set of caps and if so can I have part # and cost.
