How did you get the hose off the back the full neck I have the band loose just can’t pull up he hose off
Why did you change the fuel pump? I have a delayed start and I’m smelling gas in the back by the fuel tank! Do you think it’s my fuel pump that’s going bad?

Went through two AM fuel pumps on my Blazer till a garage just put on a OE pump. Never looked back. Have to do a Denali, paid the price for the OE part. One repair where it's very worth not having to get access to the part in that manner. Also, steel screwdriver on a steel ring for removing pump? You are really pushing it there. Brass or aluminum tools to take that ring off. One spark and that tank is on fire. Fast.

How did you know the pump was going out. I’m getting a hard start after the pump gets warm. First start is fine then hard start. Check engine light with some fuel codes.

Thanks for the detailed video. I can not get the front right fuel line clip to release, working for 2 hrs and no go. Looks like I will have to take 2007 Suburban to a mechanic. Were you able to get your two fingers in both sides of the little hole on the side to release it?
Don't use an impact on the screw for the band. The F-clip on the other side is really frail and can snap off, causing the nut to spin.

I own a 07 Avalanche and I'll never own another GM , like his , my truck frame is rusted like a 30 year old vehicle. I had a 02 gmc 4×4 stepside that broke in half due to rust. Going back to a Dodge Ram.but thanks for the vid my fuel pump locked up.
