Check engine came on my 2005 Cadillac STS V-8 and gave me three codes: p0300, p0171and p0174. Took the car to the dealer and now I will fix what they told me and save over $500.
If your car has a misfire I would take a look at these few areas first and fix the least expensive things before you tackle the big ones.
If you want to do a car diagnostic you will need an OBD 2 scanner tool. The car I was working on is a Cadillac STS but I have been told the Cadillac SRX is very similar.

I got the same problem thanks but I need to ask u if I have a oil leak how can I stop it my oil pan screw just keep turning someone try to do it before me they tried to change the oil pan gasket and must have turned tidy and not Lucy the screw is stripped what do I do I'm losing oil everyday
