ovoxo707 says:

capricebass12 says:

@50anderson sorry for leaving that out.. as you have the back seat out.
lift up the carpet on the driver side and you should see a fuse box. open
the fuse box and youll see two rows where fuses. now on the row closest to
the back of the car youll see 2 fuses then 2 empty spaces the second empty
space is the one you want thats the remote

esca1er says:

were did you gconnect the remote wire to??

Matthew Ehrhart says:

You obviously don’t know what airbags are because if you take it off it wit
go off lol stupid

capricebass12 says:

@50anderson yes you can use anyone as long as your hooking up a subwoofer
amp. also its not necessary to cut the sub wire but i wold recommend you do
so its easier to work with. but if you gonna hook up an amp for the door
speakers dont go thru the sub wire do it with the pillar wires.

juan cornejo says:

i cant believe this guy did that to a CTS it hurts just the see it why
didn’t just buy the harness kit and get it done right i have a cts 03 all
done woofer and all

capricebass12 says:

@Rahkeem1995 i have video about it. watch?v=6N_b9Ud-VMA

MattSchwaggerTV says:

oh man i cant wait to dive into my 07 cts

capricebass12 says:

@annttzzpa same here man! i was pissed but you know being pissed only makes
things worse so im gonna try and get what i remember…

capricebass12 says:

@22reTOYOTA hmm… man ive never thought about connecting them directly to
the battery post i mean it already has a 2 gauge wire coming off the post
and i thought it was easier the way i did anyway, its temporary thou im
getting a jeep soon so then i can fix the thinks i messed up on. and really
make a SPL system

capricebass12 says:

@ipodguy974023. I actually had to drill a hole right under the steering
column

david carrillo says:

yo i need your help i cant figure out where exactly you got the power wire
into the car

capricebass12 says:

@annttzzpa damn man lol but my songs were rare they were hard to find

capricebass12 says:

@50anderson yes i can ill try to get it up tomorrow! schools out so i have
alot of time on my hands

50anderson says:

what about the remote wire

Matthew Ehrhart says:

It won’t go off

francisco campas says:

U should never ever run your cables by the radaitor kuz wen the radaitor
gets hot the cables do to and when that happens it burning the wires and if
they burn alot the negative and positive touch together and can cause the
amps to get fucked up and also never connect any kind of wires into your
fuses because the can burn your car computer and you wanna know because
since its connected to the fuses when you put a song with a lot of bass the
amp takes more power so it is steeling power from

capricebass12 says:

@red2chfd like i said. it was easier and i didnt have the right equipment
on hand when i first installed it

50anderson says:

can u show the wireing for the sub i put my rca on the sub wire an it did
not work

francisco campas says:

The thing that is connected to the fuse and when you connect somthing to
the fuse the computer starts reading other signals that it dont understand
thats why alot of times the check engine comes on or service needed

nyjeterss says:

could it be a grounding problem?

four20viper says:

If you had to drill a hole at the firewall why not do it on the same side
as the battery? Also hooking up the power wire directly to the battery is
always best.

Sebastian Rojas says:

Question why didn’t you install the amp on the left side were the factory
one is its much cleaner looking but I also like how you did do it on the
right side.anyways good work I like it

david carrillo says:

@capricebass12 another ? so have you ugraded the big 3 on your cts i ended
up putting in a kicker ix1000.1 amp and a 1.5 voodoo capacitor and im still
havin issues with power to my amp i cant even turn it up past like 25
without my amp turning off i have 2 kicker l5’s dual 2 ohm wired series
parallel for a 2 ohm load which should be pushin a lil over 1000 watts but
i havent seen my amps 1000 watts yet

Rahkeem1995 says:

were di u instal your rca’s

BassLeeKing says:

ayyy runnin ur power wires by the radiator probably is a dumb ideal. not
trash talkin jus shootin some advice bro.

Nick M. says:

The best work of this build was the camara…What a hack job. Hope this guy
pushes a lawnmower for a day job. Shhhheeeeiiiiiittt

pkinwithbuds says:

where is the link to hook rca to subs???

jarocho956 says:

i would like to know how to connect an amp and subs in a cts

50anderson says:

do i have to cut the sub wire or can i hook the rca to the sub an the
tactory sub have 2 wire in the front an 2 in the back can i use any one

fraisvictor says:

Got work, but damn you trashed that CTS.

leak690 says:

which wire did you connect your blue cut on wire to

903kylepetty says:

Also.. the main power fuse to the amp needs to be within 12″ of where it is
connected to power. (not in the fuse box) – (ideal – directly to “hot” on
the battery)… this is jankety BS. informative but not correct….
