Carefully drilling out the black plastic “rivets” from the back side of panel makes this much easier. I learned this from several previous comments and just confirmed it myself. FYI for anybody about to do this project. Thank you for the very helpful video!

Used a flathead screwdriver to make space under each side of the plastic piece, then used LARGE diagonal cutters to clip them off… only a minute or so for each one! Thank you! Made this SUPER easy to do! Was replacing handles and speakers on all 4 doors so this made it super easy! Looks like new again!

Great video. I found that drilling out the plastic rivets with a 5/16 bit was easier than prying them off.

There is a tab at the bottom for disconnecting the latch the door handle connecting to the door handle don’t jus pull it
