wtf? You didn't even replace the right sensor… 17 is B1SB (Exhaust Cam) YOU EXPLAINED EVERYTHING PERFECTLY AND CHANGED THE WRONG SENSOR YOU DOOOOF! gotta love the shadetrees
I had a p0008 only code That's how I knew it wasn't the chain. GM wanted 1600…. I fixed it for 40 bucks. 2011 Caddy CTS Coupe 3.6.
Good video. Question, if you can remember…for one of the solenoids on passenger side, i couldn't get mine out because of the huge hose that was in front of it. I didn't want to take that apart because I didn't want to deal with an antifreeze mess. How did you do it, assuming you removed both on that side?
Is all 4 sensors the same ?

Sorry to say I just got my car back from the Shop cuz of that and I had to pay thirty five hundred dollars to get the timing done on my own nine CTS.
great presentation for a mechanics class but to many explanations made in regards to going to the point. just want to know the location , thats is all.
Might be a dumb question… but if I fix the problem whatever it may be, will the check engine light go away or do I need to reset it myself and wait till it comes back or it doesn’t
