yes exactly, everywhere online told me it was the shifter linkage, its close enough but not exactly, i must say, for most people, it may be the shifter linkage, but for me, it was the actual shifter
Was your car making a metal on metal “clinking” sound prior to you changing the bushing? My 05 STS which is basically the same as an 05 SRX makes a metal on metal noise when changing through gears. I assumed shift linkage.
i wish, theres no room, the bolt is very long so youll need a deep socket but then theres no room to fit the ratchet. what i did was spend 2 hours using a regular wrench O.O yes a regular wrench moving about and inch or so every turn. its just better to move the whole console
couldn’t you just use a ratchet with an extension bar on those 4 bolts?
