I'm gonna have to do this job on my 2000 Caddy Deville; it's not shifting, and is slipping really bad. I'm hoping it's just the shift solenoids (A and B ones). Also, did replacing these two solenoids fix your shifting problem in your car. What were the shift symptoms going on in your car at the time you did it? Thanks.
Mines is same one but it gots the big black looking box on the right side top right by that gasket idk if yours is missing or it came like that I can send you a pic right now of mine I got it off

How long does it take to replace a solenoid ? And what equipment/fluids do you need to pull it and replace it

Im trying to see how that hook goes back on to the spring
