John Knight says:

Why is it that the parts that are most prone to fail, are the ones that require you to dismantle your entire fricking vehicle to fix?

Steven says:

What about the clip do you never remove it ?

djtrax909 says:

Where can I get the shade

Juan Olalde says:

Nelson Doss says:

Thanks for the heads up on the pin I’m at the point of the installation and was about to put it together without taking the pin out,,, glad I checked the comments and You put the warning in your comments ,,,, thanks guys …

Nuno Family says:

Do you know where to get the black plastic part the one that is in front of white clip where you hook sunshade into?

Kenneth Rolls says:

You lost me where you detach the front of the shade from the rail. When you power it back it's hanging off one side.

Jason says:

Where in FL are you? I"m in the Orlando area. Ive got a 2012 SRX that has this problem. Can you give me a quote to fix it?

Jenny Mitchell says:

Is thus the same as a moon roof? My grandson just had a tun of hail damage!@

JwPercussion1 says:

Thank you for the video, It saved me a whole lot of guess work.
One thing I did differently is I had the front edge clips about 2 inches from the rear of the travel and attached the clips and front edge BEFORE mounting the unit. It worked for me.
Thank you again it was a huge help

clenzyson says:

Where did you get the replacement Shade from? I have a 2011 SRX. You video is very helpful.

FreddieRay says:

First of all, kudos for having the courage to take on such a huge project such as this. I do have a couple of questions, if you don't mind me asking.
1. Is the replacement shade you used an oem or aftermarket shade?
2. About how long did this project take from beginning to end?
3. What was the biggest challenge?
4. Any idea how much you saved by doing it yourself?
Thanks so much for your time and effort.

Noah C says:

that's a lot of work for a sunscreen! I tinted my sunroof dark with ceramic tint and now just keep the screen open and don't mess with it.

Leslie Chapman says:

Where did you get the shade?

Joshua Reynolds says:

I’m this video at 29:52 there is a pin that comes in the new sunshade that keeps it tight just for install. If you do not remove this pin after install and before moving sunshade it will not allow your new sunshade to work or close all the way. It will close about halfway and retract. Make sure to remove that pin. It’s almost like a pin to a gernade. I saw this pin destroy brand new sunshades

Alicia Branch-Stafford says:

You are a saint! I don’t know if I would have the patience to do this! Where are you in Florida? We need to this for our 2014 srx .

TheUpholstery1 says:

what's the cost for the shade part

Pete’s world says:

Thanks for the video. Doing this project soon smh

Karl Shuh says:

Wonderful video, thanks. Just wish you had shown the completed project and the shade going back and forth 🙁

Greg Wil says:

What a fun job…I did mine in the Florida (Melbourne area) heat too…nice video

Lydell says:

Just wanted to say thank you for the video. I have to do this soon as my SRX sunshade was removed by a previous owner. Looks like a lot of tedious work, so I greatly appreciate the time you took to show us all.
