In this video we’re covering the steps involved to install air suspension on the 1961 through 1964 Cadillac platform.
Our customer’s car is a beautiful ’61- an older restoration, but it was definitely done right! We installed Slam Specialties 7″ air bags at all four corners, along with new KYB shocks. The system is controlled by an Air Lift Performance 3H control system with digital height sensors mounted on the suspension, providing three programmable height presets to make driving this car as simple and reliable as possible.
If you’re looking for a similar system for your Cadillac, our kits can be found here: https://www.twistedimages.com/58-70-Cadillac_c_572.html
As always, we’re happy to assist you in figuring out what type of system would be best for your needs and budget- feel free to reach out to us with any questions you have about your project!
Nice work. Where are you located? I have a 1962 two door Caddy that needs some bags and suspension
This car appears to be a series 62 coupe, which is the entry level model. The interior door panels are those of a series 62 and there is no center armrest in the front. It also has the small Cadillac crests on the lower front fenders just above the skeg molding indicating it is a series 62 coupe. I own a 1961 series 62 6 window sedan that I have had since 1969.
Nice ride.Have you upgraded the wheels?
You are not worthy…
Great fab work of course , also great articulation of what’s actually going on with the car.
Yea!! You're right!! The '61 is my least favorite of all Caddys, but man!! This one has got me rethinking!! She is gorgeous!!
