Shaun, I had a 91 Astro, and to remove the armrest, All I had to do is
raise the armest to it’s highest point (straight up), then push the armrest
into the seat (with tremendous force). This allows you to raise the
armrest a bit higher. In this case the armrest will come out. This
worked because there was a large pin and hole for the pin. However, there
was a ‘stop’ to prevent the pin from going back to the large hole in the
rail. Pushing the armrest allowed the pin to pass the stop). No idea if
this is how your 94 Chevy works, but only a few years difference…Hope
this helps!

Why install over old cover? Why not take old one off first?

Why not magnetize your needlenose? Is the clip non magnetic? (help keep
from dropping it)

Great video guys, but I’m having a heck of time getting that clip back on
after everything….any tips. (and yes, I did drop the clip once already!)

Looky there… Hunter is sportin’ an Oklahoma ball cap. Way to go!!! I’m
looking for a video of the backing install on a 95-99 Front seat before I
order it but I’m sold on the bottom and arm rests. The replacement is way
overdue and I’m anxious to get started. Thanks for the videos, it tells me
that this will be a challenge but that it is not terribly difficult either.

My seats are out of a 1994 Chevy 2500 – They don’t look anything like this,
I wish they did !! What other types of arm rest pin set-ups have you run
into ?? Mine look like their welded, but still swivel..
