One of my parts came in and I had some time after work so I went ahead and replaced it. More work to come on this car.

Where did u order the mount ?
@bah53 [continue from previous message]: Although that obtruding plastic
piece is on the previous acuator i tried to take out. Although the one
acuator thats next to the acuator with a plastic arm is just a regular
acuator to plug in and is not a part of that flap arm mechanism. I am
trying to figure out if it should have the plastic arm or the metal rod
shaft thats connected to the flap mechanism acuator to come off with it.
Because there’s a metal rod stuck on the flap mechanism rod.
i bet after you replaced the air cleaner it had more balls
Coolant tastes delicious what are you talking about??? Lol
@kingsarmyaz I haven’t replaced the rear transmission mount in one of these
cars before so I don’t have any videos on it. If you look up how to change
the belt on google you should be able to find some pictures of how the
motor mount comes out though.
wow i learned a lot from this video.
@bah53 is that metal rod supposed to stay within the flap mechanism
Acuator? or come out with the actuator? this is where it started to get
confusing. Also my freon is fine the mechanic said.
Hey bah53, do you have a video tutorial or experience replacing the
transmission Mounts that are closer to the back and/or front mount on the
actual engine? Because on my buick park avenue 1998 the actual engine is
wobblying forward backward once I go from ingition to start the car or
clacking sounds from park to drive. Its a horrible clacking knocking sound.
I just need some picture diagrams and steps to get them unscrewed and
replaced. Will a suspension be needed to lift engine up? -PAUL
@kingsarmyaz If you wanted to know how to take the motor mount out, that is
something you have to do when you change the belt so there are probably
lots of pictures on the internet about taking the motor mount out because
replacing the belt is very common. If I am understanding correctly which
actuator you’re talking about then the metal rod would stay with the flap.
You can replace the Dexcool with regular green coolant, can’t you?
hi how are u doing ? finally i found u about 98 park ave front mount that
what i need this part one im tried look diffrant the auto store so they had
none so where u buy that stuffs i need it so badly please ??
@bah53 The Belt to which part are you referring to? Also I have an A/C
Acuator not working. Only passenger side blows cold air, so I’m working on
driver side… I saw also by driver side there are 2 acuators i took the
regular off and to test a new one in its position and it didn’t turn cold
on driver side yet..soooo i [message continue in next post…]
Im always learning its good to learn about the coolant hose, and the fix.
I prefer the old green coolant, has a sweeter taste LOL. That looks like gm
dexcool. The last time I had a collapsed hose was on my old buick and it
turned out to be the head gasket after replacing everything else 🙁
@elantra11 There could be a whole mouse city in there and I still wouldn’t
replace the cabin air filter, I hate doing them in these cars.
where did you get the mount
@ndchevy Only the fresh stuff is good. The old stuff with chunks in it, not
so good lol.
Hey where did you get that part from because I need it bad and what’s the
part name and number
@bah53 [continue from previous message]: tried taking off the Acuator next
to it real close by it that has that plastic Arm which controls the flap
underneath to open and close,..well I took it out…and the bushing large
circle on the actual acuator looks like its completely missing or stripped
but has a tiny tooth gear but there’s not even an obtruding larger circle
tiny plastic piece. [message continue in next post…]
@casebutler It got a little better.
Cool. I`d check cabin air filter too – just to see if there`s a mouse
nest…:)
I agree with you, coolant tastes friggin aweful
