Thanks for making this video. I have the same job to tackle tomorrow for my 2007.Rendezvous. Thought it would be like this but until you see it for sure, its a little bit edgy….
the video is good but the passenger side top is what i seem to be stuck on i can only see one nut on fuse box it looks to be attached to the washer reservoir of course i'm working on a 2005 aztek which seems to be the same
Thanks for the video from one Yinzer to another. I have to do this job in a parking lot since the broken spring in almost hitting the tire. The info here will be a big help.
Thanks for the video. On your suggestion I got the ratcheting wrenches and it made a shirt work of the 6 top nuts, did the whole job in one hour. Nice!!!
I just did this job and I don't see how you could do the passenger side without moving the wiper motor or why you wouldn't move it just to avoid major frustration
Yea that job Sucked Azz ! LoL ~ Thanks for the great vid! ~ What a stupid freaking car design! They could have at least put in access panels! ~ Wrench for top bolts were 15mm and like he said you can do it with the wiper motor in place, don't even think about ratchets not gonna happen! I used a 7/8 on my bottom strut bolts and a breaker bar. patience patience patience LoL

You should do the rear coil
How to change the strut without changing the coil spring?

To confirm, you do not need to compress the coil of the strut before removing it from the car? I am assuming this would be the same for a 2003 Aztek?
A 15mm ratchet wrench long style works wonders on this job.. Never removed wiper assembly.
Thanks for the video, learn quickly how to do it and picked up a couple good tips.
I'm assuming that is a rust cap on the tower mount…do you know where it was acquired?

Does this work on a 2007 rendezvous as well?

Do you have video on removing the coil spring and putting it on the new strut?
Do you know what the torque on the upper and lower bots was for the struts?
