hi jim sent away for rotors for 2003 buick the front rotors are half the thickness of the originals bolts line up but i have a space where the pads go will they work ???thank you jim

Jim, thanks a million for the DIY video. Well laid out instructions. I got the front brakes and rotors replaced on my 2004 Park Avenue. For someone with not much mechanical aptitude, I was successful thanks to you. Still having some grinding noise. Thinking the caliper might be bad. The pistons were kinda rusty on the outer edges.

I would add this thought: If the brake fluid reservoir if FULL there will be an overflow when the brake caliper pistons are pushed back, creates a mess of brake fluid running down….might want to suck some fluid out and top off at the end of installation.

I wouldn't use grease but instead silicone paste as the grease eats away at rubber parts and those sliding pins can seize inside their bores, as I have seen it before. They will not release properly.. but great video .. thanks

Thanks for a great video as usual. Jim, on a different note when doing a subaru gasket head with the motor in place, where do you place the jacks under the motor, and do you use one or two Jacks? is it safe to place one under the oil pan (can it carry the weight of the motor)? Thank you.
