In this video I show you how I remove and replace a glove box latch on a 2008 Buick LaCrosse. It’s a pretty straightforward job, but removing the lock cylinder is a little tricky.

Does anyone actually put gloves in a glove box?
I like how the dog just sprung up like "WE? Excuse me?!"
Thanks. I'm a chick & this was so easy after stressing over it for the past year. Thanks again for the vod. I got my part on ebay for $13 but saw some for $10 after I got it.
Your video is “SPOT ON”! Got mine changed out this morning!!!
I had same plastic notch break off the handle making the assembly. I pulled part from junkyard.
Now I am realizing I do not have the donor car's key to unlock the replacement's cylinder to pull out and transfer my own Buick's cylinder.
I guess I can drill out the junk cylinder I won't be using. And hope the gray handle doesn't get damaged
QUESTION now …. My ignition key Doesn’t NOT fit in my glove box!!? What do I do?????
My glove box is close I attempted to open it but my latch completely broke off and now I can't open my glove box. Can someone help me out with this Thank you!
Great video. Thanks!
Who cares about the fog. Hurry up
Worked great! Thanks for the part number!
you are awesome i fixed mine in about 4 minutes
Thanks for this, it worked perfectly!
Where can you get the magnets at besides ordering?
You and your dog are rockstars! Video helped me! Have a 2005 Lacrosse, but same latch.
2006 glove box lock replacement video
Worked almost exactly the same on my 2006. the little tab hole was moved a bit, but easy to do!
got a part from a junkyard for cheap. After I got it home I saw the latch was broke. Couldn't use it. Got another one online and it worked just fine.
Great video
I wish this could be done on the 2005 Buick Lesabre.
