Thanks for taking the time to record and post this. This info is just what
I was looking for. I’m installing an aftermarket audio system with gps,
nav, etc and knowing how the dash disassembles is great. I just picked up
a very nice ’04 Celebration Edition with only 78K for my new daily driver.
I have a heads up display, so it’s a little different but close enough.
Named her “Babs” (BadAss Buick Sedan) Thanks again.

Buick Mike, Did you look at what the substructure looks like for the dash
pad? I’m wondering if it might be possible to peel off the original vinyl
pad and wrapping that structure with leather/vinyl, or does it look like
the original material adds the needed thickness to create the soft curves
around the front edge of the dash / crisp line at the rear?

GREAT video… thanks for making it. I do have a question tho. I pulled a
used dash pad from a car a donor car at the bone yard. It was near perfect
when I started but by the time I got it home it had pulled away little on
D/S. How did you “pull: the dash pad downward in order to align it
correctly before rivets? Did you use a heat gun to soften it? thanks in
advance..
