Great video.
First thing I do when I get a 3800 is this. As common to me as changing the oil on these cars lol.
I always change the crap plastic intake to the aluminum for the swap.

Thanks for the video. Very helpful!

@Rksanchez871 says:

I just unclogged the egr after who knows how many years of it being clogged on my 3800 so I could pass emissions and my manifold intake melts and draws in coolant just as I read would happen. pain in the butt these stupid egr systems

I agree this is the best video so far for doing this job, great job and thanks for sharing this.

@znuh says:

Wow! Thank you for such a detailed walk-through!! I feel I can tackle this now!

Great video, best bust down on the 3800 I’ve seen.

@joep6532 says:

Is it relatively the same process for a l32? Need to do my lower intake gaskets here soon

@phoenixmabry893 says:

Best video on this I’ve seen. And how did you clean that orange gunk out I feel like its just rust and debris from the coolant system (radiator looks the same way actually). I assume you just scraped it out. But u I was thinking of running some radiator cleaner to flush out most of it. Thanks for any replies!!

@baldeaglearrage3450 says:

I GOT THE 3100, YOU DID WHAT IT TOOK ME ABOUT A MONTH TO DO. RUST SUCKS
SORRY CAPSLOCK WAS ON
actually I take it back. I redid the head gaskets as well.

@dward5497 says:

how many man hours?

@RockChunker266 says:

I had to stop watching because I was getting seasick. Dude, could you possibly get an assistant to hold the camera. Looks like it was gonna be a good video, but I was getting vertigo.

@aaronhober9070 says:

Thank you! This definitely helped alot!!

@nickradic says:

Would this be more or less the same for a 1996 Buick Regal with 3.8?

@DozermanLT says:

Leave plastic cover off its fire hazard lol

@marissauzeta7174 says:

Thank you so much. With videos like yours, I'm able to do my own maintenance. Shops take advantage of women.
