2006 Buick Lucerne cold start

Runs good! Never found out what what that squeal was and the other noise when i was adjusting the seat was just the leather rubbing against the center console.

Nice car! I have a 2007 Lucerne, just without the Northstar. Maybe that
squealing noise was the air suspension adjusting?

bradsengine says:

Sweet car! Nice size engine to!

Joe's Small Engine Repair says:

Haha Yeah like i said before the Northstar has its ups and downs, (like the
cooling problems) but i like like car a lot. Kinda sucks to work on though!

AutomotiveVlog says:

I’m a big GM fan but I gotta say their Forte is push rod motors. Fuck
technology and DOHC. The Northstar was problematic. My friend has a 2005
GXP with the 5.3 V8. Old School technology and a great motor. No problems.
Northstars do sound good though. Dont they have a 7000 RPM redline? I like
the Lacrosse Super a lot since it has the 5.3. I’d put magna flows on it.

AutomotiveVlog says:

Love the Lucerne. I’d put some MagnaFlows on it! People would be like WTF
since it would make it sound like a Muscle car.

Nice car! I remember we took a 2006 Buick Lacrosse for a test drive once
with the Series III 3.8 and it was a really nice car. started as fast as
you could turn the key for having 98,000 miles

Joe's Small Engine Repair says:

Yeah I really like the car. The Northstar has its ups and downs but its a
pretty nice car. Really have to do the Antifreeze soon because it was never
done. I’ve never really been in a car with the buick v6 in in it,
definitely wanna test one out 🙂

Joe's Small Engine Repair says:

Thanks man!

Joe's Small Engine Repair says:

you know its funny you mention that because it sounds pretty nice from the
factory with its true dual exhaust, just sucks that the northstar has a lot
of problems, because this thing screams. One day ill have a video of what
you can hear from inside when you jump on it. it would definitely sound
better with magnaflows though! Thanks for the comment!
