John Trieu says:

I just want to replace the rotor by itself since the pads are still fairly
new. Can I just remove the two 17 mm bolts holding the caliper in place or
do I have to remove the guide rods also?

S OS says:

Otto, I damaged the (Rotor Hold-down Screw). Where can I get a screw like
that to replace on my rotors?

Michael Vetrone says:

What was the brand of copper based anti-seize that you used?

Lee Lee says:

Fantastic video.
If would be useful to have all the items needed for the project listed in
the description.

ShowersNeiked says:

what brand of rotors, and pads, do you recommend to replace the ones on a
2008 535i?

mike torres says:

is it the same as for a 1995 BMW 7 series

jouxpane says:

So well explained. Awesome work.

Dawson St. Julien says:

what rotors are those? they look very nice. by the way these videos are
great!

EmmaLovelace says:

@MrRJLarkin The preservative is an oil put over the brake disc to stop it
rusting when the part is stored. If you did not remove it and put is on the
car, there would be oil between the disc and the pads. You would then find
that your brakes would not be very good when driving.

75 is the specicific for my 1998 328i but 90 to be safe is fine rather
large bolts so 90 won’t break them

Mini Surf says:

I did see u replace the sensor?

TheTallJS says:

thats a pretty awesome torque tool u had there at the end 😀 must have cost
a pretty penny 😀

4everlakers24 says:

not rally like a 120 on bavauto

Ryan Larkin says:

Why would you want to remove the preservative?

BavarianAuto says:

@hpa1700n A general number would be about 90-ftlbs. However, the Bentley
manuals have the figures for each BMW or MINI model. We have the manuals at
bavauto DOT com. Additionally, see our BLOG post on wheel lug torque. Go to
blog.bavauto DOT com and search on BMW & MINI Wheel Lug Bolt / Nut
Tightening Torque

BavarianAuto says:

We do offer the torque wrench shown in the video. Go to BAVAUTO dot COM and
type in the part number: BLD0212C

Bernard Hall says:

how much do the wheels need to be torqued too when you are finished.

Gonzo Hanson says:

Does it have to be copper based anti-seize?

tasos pournaras says:
