Hello my bmw 36 325is 2 weeks ago started leaking alot of antifreeze and
smoke was coming up from the engine bay I bout the car next door to a
mechanic and he told me it was the heater Valve supposenly they check the
problem with a scanner gun. They took the piece out now I’m waiting for
another one . The heater valve really can cause a major issue with
antifreeze pouring out like a bucket of water. Please respond back

You mentioned a few times about finding the rebuild kit for these. I sell
them for this specific type. http://www.panjo.com/profile/mp_71_culprit83 I
also own a E36, Its a 1998 328i although yours is a bit nicer on the
outside and I like the rims on it.
I pretty much did the same as you did, I used a 6mm socket with an
extension. Fortunately I didn’t have to crawl under the car.

where does the rubber debris come from? would any O-rings or hoses need to
be replaced because rubber is breaking off? Also, other than disassembling
the unit ( if the blockage isn’t pickable from the holes ) would running a
hose through it maybe clear it?
