How To Replace a BMW FRM Module (Footwell Module)!!! E90

After jumping my car one morning I discovered I had lost functions in my turn signals, front windows, and several other features. These are symptoms of an FRM module that has a shorted circuit. I ordered a replacement from FCP Euro and installed it and coded it my self. This video is about the installation. The next video will detail the coding process.

I'm going to just be straight up with you. You talk too damn much

JJ Pienaar says:

I heard there is a software bug on some of the older FRM modules that cause them to be bricked (i.e. fail) when the battery is disconnected and reconnected. Any truth to this. Also, can one replace a FRM or FRMPL2 with a FRM3?

Star Pillars says:

Mines gone today… I haven’t done anything different, curious if it was just in its last legs, is the hardware and components in these FRM’s workable and possibly repairable (of course depending on what factors caused it to fail)
