Help needed, how to you replace the torque bolt? I stripped the bolt on the passenger door of my 2022 pathfinder
My gotcha. .. after removing the keylock, I did not notice the plastic part with the hex screw had moved back into the door about 1/4 of an inch. I could not get the light to sit flush. Nobody in the comments has ever mentioned this. It wasn't until I took the other door handle cap off did I notice the 1/4" difference between the two sides. With a bit of muscle, I got it back in place.
Thank you for this trick. I will note that my trap piece / trigger piece would not catch without me holding a screw driver under it until I pulled the back part forward. Even then, it would trip with the littlest touch. It took many tries to get it to stay in place so I could put the door handle back on. Much cursing.
Hi how about changing the outer door hadle cable replacement ?
Thank you so much for this video! I had to pull the catch towards me and then at the same time slide the door handle end into the catch. It is somewhat easier to see how the parts work together if you remove the handle and door light and then look at the mechanism
