what are your feelings and or additional steps regarding changing from atf
to chf 11s? same flushing procedure?

Adrian C says:

I’ve been informed that the previous owner of my car has the wrong fluid
in, it’s makes a whin sound … So I was just wondering if this procedure
would still work even tho it doesn’t drain 100% , or would disconnecting
the return line be a better option so nothing gets mixed ?

RONALD ACOSTA says:

I have a 2002 BMW 330ci… My problem is the air heat or cold air is not
blowing at all… I think its the blower that bad… Need to know how to
change the blower?

Inderjit Mann says:

Last question how many litres of power steering fluid would I need to do a
power steering fluid change? My car is a 2008 BMW 323i sedan.
Thank you

MTViperGTS says:

Where can i get that suction pump? What is the make/model?

Samuel Sholobela says:

Hi, Thanks good explanation. However I have a question, when I apply brakes
on my BMW E46 I hear a single click noise (like a single knock) what could
be the problem?

Iam thinking of flushing the fluid, could it be poor bleeding after
changing the brakes pads?

Inderjit Mann says:

Thanx for all the help I have another question but this is about performing
a rear differential on my car and was wondering if it’s the same process?

Inderjit Mann says:

How is the fluid suppose to look like if it doesn’t need a change? Like the
color or odor?

Inderjit Mann says:

Do I keep on bleeding the steering wheel until the fluid levels stops to
drop at the end or just doing it once or twice is enough?
Thanx

Inderjit Mann says:

Just to confirm, it is best to suck out the old fluid , put in new fluid,
turn stering wheel with car on, suck fluid again and replace with new fluid
and repeat turning the wheel with car on and then check fluid and your done?
Thankx in advance and can you tell if this is the correct steps or not.

Hello Michelle, thanks for watching and the great comment!

Michelle Park says:

Hello. Thank you for the information!!!

AskTheCarExperts says:

Thanks for the comment!

AskTheCarExperts says:

Hello, where you able to get the issue resolved? Sounds like maybe a
steering shaft U joint binding.

AskTheCarExperts says:

Hello, There is no set interval but more is always better. You could do
this every 30 to 50,000 miles or every other oil change. Depends on how
much time and money you have 🙂 I would recommend every 30,000

Ilchung Park says:

Hello. Thank you for the nice video. I am just wondering how often the
flush should be performed. Thank you.

alikaan06 says:

Very Helpful video.

I will try and make an overview for a 2010 335i when I can 🙂

Raksasok Heng says:

hey bro how long we can change power steering flush ?

lisandra2494 says:

By chance could I have the name of the pump you used? I took my x3 for
service in yesterday and they want to charge me 240+ to change my power
steering fluid!

AskTheCarExperts says:

I had the extra fluid and wanted to do as complete a flush as I could 🙂
That is the only reason 😉

German Genzelis says:

What should i use for my 07 335i w/o active steering?

AskTheCarExperts says:

Not too difficult. It is not pressurized unless the system is running. So
with the vehicle off you are good. You will need to replace the crush
washers on the banjo bolt end on both sides as well to prevent leaks. No
special tools needed for this one my friend. Happy New Year! Let me know if
you need any repair instructions.

AskTheCarExperts says:

There is no set interval for the power steering fluid. I would say as a
general rule of thumb it would be worth changing every two years. This
would help keep the system good and clean.
