DIY: BMW Floppy Interior Door Handle Repair

DIY: BMW Floppy Interior Door Handle Repair

Video tutorial on how to fix the floppy interior door handle on your BMW. If the door panel has been removed at some point, someone may have installed the door handle incorrectly. This will make the door handle flop around and not sit properly in it’s location, but the door handle will still function correctly. This can be repaired with minimal tools and does not required removing the door panel. This particular tutorial was done on a 1997 BMW 540i sedan.

Someone Help: I have a 2002 BMW 530i(E39) Sedan! I have replaced the driver side window regulator, but for the life of me I cannot get the door handle back on. I do not have the handle with the hook. I have the one that has a piece of white plastic covering the cable wiring.

Also, how do I disconnect the airbag wires w/o breaking the clamps.
