Jim Cummings says:

Omar, you're saving my life with this video brother! thank you!

Kris Klapal says:

I had this issue and read somewhere that the key can be recharged just by simply driving around with it in the ignition. My key was my spare that the battery had died in, so it made sense and it worked. If it’s the key you normally use, it doesn’t make much sense. However, I would try it before cutting the key open. If that doesn’t work then this video is your next option other than paying sky high for a new one.

2K Cars says:

did you test the original battery? Ive done this to mine and i found the battery tested fine – by just heating the soldered terminals it started to work perfectly again.

Lucky Nkonyane says:

Did the key work because you said you will update us if it's working.

Yvonne Johnson says:

The replacement key is 800.00 dollars. Had I knew this ahead of time I would have bought a totally different car.

Wan Basiron says:

Clever German Technology. Once battery drained, just throw away and buy a new one, reset new frequency and cost you a fortune

CAFER TAYYAR PASA says:

In offical bmw service , what they do normally, to reunite that key for ,? Glue or something different

Colwyn Snyers says:
