Can we remove foam from headliner material and stick to pillars?

@gregw6251 says:

Any recommendations on where to source grey fabric?

@ShermSMASH says:

What is "REAL" Alcantara? Alcantara is a synthetic material, so I am confused as to what you mean by "real Alcantara"

@loucarmona2746 says:

The glue used in the video is not good for this purpose. Mine started showing trough with the brownish color. AI's answer:

"Yes, if you use regular rubber cement as a headliner adhesive, it is very likely to show through the fabric, especially on lighter-colored headliners, because it is designed to be a thin, translucent adhesive, making it unsuitable for this application; always use a dedicated headliner adhesive spray designed for automotive upholstery which will provide a stronger bond and less visible glue lines."

Getting ready to redo this. Rest of video was excellent.

Can you link the size for the screws and washers? Both short and longer

@uscp2 says:

Make sure you buy quality fabric though, I bought similar fabric but that really wasn't UV resistant and most of the material turned into some weird grey/red colour combo in less than a year time. Not fun when you have taken your time to do all this.

@Recon77 says:

What about the leather on the door panel itself, what would we use for replacement leather and what’s that process.

Worst video I have watched poor lady

@chefboiali says:

Thanks for posting this! Would you be able to verify what screws and washer sizes you used? Thanks much!

Hands down the most detailed video. Going to restore my door cards

@itsdjtury says:

What’s the name of the glue (material) you’re using to do this

@headweb1 says:

Hey tubby. It's called please and thank you. Quit being rude to your wife.

@juanignaciocaino says:

This is a testament on how forgiving that material is. Your upholstery technique sucks big time.
