In this video, I share my experience with a faulty alternator that caused a 30-second wait time before starting my car. Unfortunately, my alternator finally gave out, but I’m going to show you how I’m sorting it out properly. I start by removing the alternator, which involves taking out the tensioner and idle pulley. Then, I clean up and paint the alternator to prevent rust and corrosion. The regulator is a separate piece that caused the problem, and it’s quite scarce to find locally. However, I have all the parts needed to replace it, including the brush kit. Once the mechanical parts are taken care of, I move on to the electrical part by replacing the battery and registering it using the Launch X431 diagnostic tool.
