that guy is pretty funny to watch
spot on with the other vids still watching this one after i have smashed my
xenon — try first read and learn later method ignored the first rule of
idiots law – never fix it til it breaks
Do I have to disconnect battery power petit to changing the bulb? Thanks
for the video.
My comment was way out of line. Can you recommend any e36 xenon diy or
kits. Thanks
We don’t have a video for that yet, but no you don’t have to take the
headlight out to replace the bulb, we just did so to show you the process.
Hope that helps!
It’s on our to-do list!
Do u have a video on how to change the H7 bulb (High Beam) on the BMW E46 3
series? and to change any bulbs is it necessary to take the head lights or
is it not possible to do it without removing it?
Check our channel, we’ve got those covered too.
Great video! Do you have to remove the headlight assembly to change the
Xenon light bulb? If not, do you have a video of this?
I don’t think you have to, there should be enough roob behind the assembly
to remove and fit in a new bulb. Sorry though, we don’t have a video
showing it.
Sorry no videos concerning the issue, I don’t think those forums are far
off though, it does sound like an electrical connectivity issue.
There’s a lot on the market, but the e36 factory harness isn’t capable of
powering a xenon ballast on it’s own, so you’ll want to look for a kit that
includes a relay harness, otherwise you may have faulty lighting. I’m sure
a quick search on the forums will turn up some results. Sorry to say we
don’t carry any at the moment. Hope that helps.
Good call, our mistake, fixed!
thank you for this helpful video, i had a flickering xenon bulb for a
while, and now the bulb no longer lights! i read some forums they mentioned
something wrong with the ground wiring in the rear trunk near the battery,
but am still not convinced with that.. Do you have any suggestions/ Videos
concerning this issue ? thank you
Think you could do a video on how to repair relays? My passenger-side
headlight/foglight doesn’t always come on, and have been told it may be my
relays.
E46 …fag the title says E36
This video is awesome!! It saved me $460.00 and I can actually do this all
by myself!! Thanks!!! Now if I could only learn to do brake jobs. LOL
