Guide to replace turbo on BMW X3 E83 2.0D. With some inlet manifold and EGR valve cleaning

Update 07-Sep-2017:
Particle filter and turbo can probably be taken off together, as one unit. Much easier to split them when these parts are out of the car. This may be very helpful, as is was the most difficult part of the way I did it. The turbo lower mounting bracket and oil drain line will be a bit more harder to reach though. And you still have to remember to disconnect particle filter wires of course…

I have the same car and it give me hard time, I just reconditioned the gearbox after that the particular filter have a problem and it effected the turbo and the oil is leaking ,,, I give it to my mechanic and waiting ,,,, any advice?

Its same as E90 320d. I did the top part but when I went underneath I want to give up. It has couple hoses and the front axle block the way.
