Mao says:

how much it;s cost this kit?

F1GradPrixMontenegro says:

How it is attached to the engine belt? It’s got its own belt but on what does he put the other side of belt? And it sucks air through air filter which is now behind bumper, and what next? I mean, does the air flows then to the radiator and then to the manifold? (I’m not an expert, I’m just asking 🙂 Btw nice video!

Astinger69 says:

Before posting nonsense google the difference between a turbo and a supercharger.

Rabi Shoukair says:

how is this a supercharger?? This is a turbo kit! the blower/supercharger is supposed to mount on the engine itself. whats up here?

BigBoss9865327410 says:

2 superchargers (2×3) could it be better?

Grenade360 says:

Ohhh ty!

Suspect114 says:

you can see it at 6:23

Grenade360 says:

is there no inter cooler ?

zombiecheef says:

And the dumbass saying a turbo is ran by the motor. No. Turbo charger is powered by exhaust gases coming from the exhaust manifold. Superchargers are powered by the motor, which turns the pulleys which turn the compressor wheel. Stop misinforming people. Then again, we are on youtube.

zombiecheef says:

Sell the 528i and get a 540i dumbass why would you s/c a 2.8 in that boat…smh. some people need toyotas and hondas..

T0KY0SHER0 says:

I understand rwhp. My point is that M3s should be putting down ~275 at the wheels. 80hp drivetrain loss on a 333 bhp car is not good.

At8000RPM says:

That’s 256rwhp. The engine itself on a dyno is 330hp at the crank.

porsche200471 says:

I wish people would talk in terms of BHP. all this Kw shit is fucking nonsense.

Stefan Eccles says:

Nice Spiro! I want one for my 528i E39!

Carlos Barragan says:

that’s to the Wheels not crank…

peter andre says:

Shame about those wheels 🙁

Will Palmer says:

hey if you cut a square out of the carpet underneath the throttle peddle, it allows more travel with the pedal and adds around 20hp

ziggyboom boom says:

411bhp

Jordan Berry says:

Should of left the inercooler raw.

mnbuick says:

Thanks for explaining that because I was thinking the same thing as ljmdrummer. It’s totally obvious to me now.

rogo2484 says:

give the bhp output, not everyone understands kw, especially not over in europe where vehicles are messured in bhp..

hchgcv09 says:

this is a procharger. a turbo ran my the motor, superchargers are ran by belt and do not is an intercooler. its simpty forces more air into the manifold thus making constant power. prochargers and superchargers have “boost lag” that have to be purged at a certian RPM level

byyReign says:

A shit load of money. To sum it up, you would pretty much have to rebuild the engine with better internals to withstand the boost. There would be a lot of custom stuff being done to the car as well. Why would you want to do this to a car that already has a V12 though?

Zagros Ozkan says:

how much would it cost to twin supercharge a bmw 850csi ? and how much time would it take ?

TLumVids says:

There is a v8 version of the m3 just not in the generation that is shown in the video.

GaNgStAlBeRt says:

the six cylinder version ? no shit i thought there was a v12 version

drake259kcl says:

its not a supercharger its a procharger
yeaahhhhh!!!!

Gonken88 says:

it’s * 1,36, and don’t bother arguing it.

Jay Haig says:

4 ess kits available for the M3 E46

Jay Haig says:

Of course there’s ecu changes they’ve just made cuts in the vid. Supercharger kit takes around 10 hours to fit not 8 mins. Also there’s 4 different ess tuning SC kits available. Any and all supercharger kits require you to send your ecu to there company to re-program or they’ll send you the remap file via email so you can flash it yourself.

letljag says:

twin screw sound is awful and its heavy!

Jake Ritchea says:

Turbo Yoda

John Jepson says:

When I saw this was a centrifugal supercharger…. immediately lost interest and moved to a new video. Twin-screw supercharge or don’t even bother with it, turbo instead

japaaia says:

That supercharger is not super pressurized, it works directly with stock e46. any more bar than that requires a huge bit of fuel/ecu work.
