That first bolt at 17;58 how do you mange to get it aligned so easily. We were struggeling zo hard to get it just right to fit through 🙁
He just spend the intro telling us how basic and substandard the coilovers are, yet he still installed them?

I own a F31 – 3210xd from 2015 (non-LCI) . I did replace the control arms and there was no need to counter with a 18mm socket, accessing the bolt head from front was enough.
Based on my experience I would have two technical questions:
– According to available info on the net, on my car these bolts are also 'torque to yield' (100NM +90deg).
– Any idea as to why/when the bolt configuration changed?
Disconnecting the battery would of avoided worrying about touching that positive post..
the torque to yield m10 bolt, on knuckle… why does it need to be replaced? and can you share direct link of the bolt?
