Most of the time it's just the valvetronic motor seal, way quicker job try that 1st or you can check by cleaning the cover thoroughly and lookig to see where the oil comes back 1st ( only works if you get rid of ALL the oil in all the nooks and crannies in the cover)
No, I don't think plastic is bad, and not all manufacturers will unnecessarily reduce prices, like our company has always been quality-oriented, so our plastic valve cover, the quality is also very good, but the price will be a little higher, but now there are many other manufacturers maliciously lower prices to get our customers, and ultimately you buy more poor quality goods in the market
I hope those were OEM valve covers cuz a lot of those aftermarket valve cover start leaking within a couple of months. I really hope that isn't the case with the one you installed cuz there's nothing more annoying then doing the job twice

What valve cover did you replaced it with? OEM or cheap eBay Chinese version that will fail in a few months and give you issues right from the start!
