with the CD Player or not? Which one is better? Thanks

Gilbert Gonzalez says:

Hey, I was wondering where you got those tab connecters ..?

Ultimate Peter says:

Yes… That is certainly what I did… but I am going to make a change to
this vid. The Line Output converter should actually be hooked into the
lines heading into the Harman Kardon Amp. They sound much better this way.
Slightly more difficult, but well worth it. I have changed my setup this
way. (I have also installed a different deck, but you can certainly do it
with the BMW Business CD unit).

Ultimate Peter says:

I looked up those two numbers and it seemed to me they were the same
thing… Anyway, I think this may be overkill, but you should still be able
to use it. If you are just installing a sub and a mono amp, then all you
should need is two rca plugs. In essence, you should be able to use one
half of this line converter. Not super sure on the remote wire part, I
would stick with the white one in the video…

I NEED HELP! I HAVE A 2001 BMW 325 XI AND IT HAS A 6CD CHANGER(STOCK), BUT
I DONT KNOW HOW TO USE IT!! IT DOESNT GIVE ME AN OPTION ON THE MENU SCREEN
NOR THEIR IS A BUTTON ON THE DASHBOARD. HOW EXACTLY DO I GET IT
WORKING/PLAYING?! ANYONE IT WILL BE GREATLY APPRECIATED THANKS

Ultimate Peter says:

I am sorry to say that I did not have the CD changer in mine. I read a bit
about them though… I just can’t really remember what it said. I was
reading about faking the Stock Deck into seeing the CD changer, but then
hooking up your ipod to the line in. Anyway, I stopped dreaming about an
Aux input and replaced the deck in the car. Put a Pioneer in and love it
with BlueTooth!

252656234 says:

Do you say that half this (4 RCA Line Level Converter Adaptor)(Two lines)

Adaptor) I can connect subwoofer Or not !

252656234 says:

280598059072 RCA Car 4 Channel Line Level Converter with Remote Out Or
another you tell me ……..

Ruben Castanos says:

Hey, you hooked up the line converter to the harman kardon amp. I was just
wondering what colors did you hook it up to. thank you

Random Exposure says:

You can get them at Home Depot, or an auto shop… But, after revamping my
system, I redid everything with actual cuts in the wire and butt
connectors, which you can then melt the plastic tight on. I would recommend
this, because it is much more secure and no issue with possible light
connection.

Ultimate Peter says:

That’s cool… Are you going to just hook it up to the bridged terminals
then and forget about the rest? Make sure your amp is rated to push the
correct Watts for the ohms of your sub… Don’t want to ruin your amp, or
sub, or both.

252656234 says:

Yes, For you that know, like the same, but for me how? i can not speak
english very well and I can not work in a high electric ! I do all the work
creativity is needed know, except electric ! Anyway, I want to connected
just subwoofer 300w RMS 2400w peak Or with two speakers.
