I m looking to buy a e46 coupe, in a private sale. I look on Craigslist, cargurus, and cars.com. I find only a few cars within a 150 miles of my location, and the ones I do find have very high miles. Why are the e46 coupes seem so rare. They were a very well selling model in its day??

LogiForce86 says:

In my case the fan speed fluctuated, which I fixed by installing a new version of Sonic… ehm, I mean a hedgehog resistor.

I have an e46 and an e39 and I've had to replace this darn thing twice in both of them within the past year. It sucks. The manufacturers of these FSU's should be poked in their eyes for making such crappy parts. What's even worse is the first time I attempted to swap out the FSU in my e46, I thought I had to remove my glove compartment to access the darn thing. My cars are right hand drive cars. I had no idea all of the FSU's are locted on the right side. You live and you learn I guess.

$20 generic on eBay. Working for over a year now. Good vid as always.

Hi,
Good job as usually.
What's the OEM reference number of the item You replace please?
I don't find it on realoem.com using my VIN.
Thanks
