In this video, we go through the installation of our in-house engineered Luft-Technik and Kohlefaser Luft-Technik intake systems. We show the removal of the stock intake and demonstrate helpful tips for installing our aftermarket intake.

One major benefit of installing an aftermarket intake includes increased airflow, allowing the car to breathe easier. This results in increased power from your turbocharged engine. Intakes also open up the sound of your engine and make your turbo more audible. Our intake is dyno tested with proven power gains. In the video we put the car on the dyno to show the power increase and take it outside to hear the sound.

*The microphone is mounted under the hood for intake soundclips.

My god that intake pipe holder screw was hard to get in, other than that easy install, that makes the car sound way better !

Love these vids, but I'm curious: do you guys ever do install vids for MK7 Jettas? I understand that most people purchasing these mods are more likely to start with a GTI/GLI/R platform, but install vids for us poor folks would also be appreciated. Keep up the great work!

Nathan Bostic says:

Before buying from ESC, y’all might want to hop on Facebook and search the group “why I hate ECS Tuning”. It saved me right before I was going to buy this. I mean, there is an entire Facebook group dedicated to talking about how bad they suck!

Silver Srt says:

Do not buy this intake! Mine lasted 1 year and 4 months and the main mounting bracket that screws into the side of the engine completely broke. ECS told me to go fuck myself, and end the chat abruptly while trying to talk to them about it. Buy anything besides their brand of products from them.

AudiSportDre says:

So does the cover then make it a fully inclosed system? Or are their openings for engine heat to enter? Because then at that point it’s a really expensive open air intake that redirects a bit more outside air to it. Do you have an IAT comparisons?

Cyril Cyster says:

Guys does anyone perhaps know why my cars rev is going up and down on its own? Engine light came on. 2 oil leaks below car now as well. Only did software, downpipe, and exhaust
