Tough choice.. keep the adaptive front lighting system, or have double
horseshoe DRL’s.

To see if they look better or worse. Do the new ones light up the road
better at night and how much $ are they if I was to take the whole front of
the car apart and fit them myself?

Would these fit on my 2013 GTI?

I have the same lights and they work as advertised, no coding. Love the
look of the U shaped LEDs it really changes the look of the car, notice
that if you want the stripes on the headlights to align with the grill you
will need to buy a lighting package Grill but to be honest is so minimal
that you have to be really OCD not to keep the non LP grill
