Sorry but your valves in your cylinder head are more than likely bent and your cylinder heads need to be removed and rebuild or replaced by used ones.

RatchetsAnd Wrenches says:

Glad to hear it helped you on your 94 v6. Yours probably has alot more miles plus its older..thats probably why it was hard to get them off. cheers

great video. i used this video to replace the timingbelt for my audi cabriolet v6 1994.
except for the tensioner its quite the same. Surprised how easily your camshaft gears went off. mine were stuck. couldnt get them loose.

Rumen Hristov says:

118 000kms, but the belt was replaced by some idiot at 104 000km. Ever since, the valves were touching the pistons and left marks on them. Because the idiot did not use an alignment tool. And eventually, due to improper tension, the belt snapped.

RatchetsAnd Wrenches says:

np, did the car have 125K by any chance? I’ve bought two V6 Passats with about 125k on them with broken timing belts.

Rumen Hristov says:

Excellent video! Jut perfect! I got a broken timing belt right after I bought my passat – same day. Now I’ve been replacing my heads for a couple weeks. I ordered a timing belt kit and I was wondering how to get that stupid fan clutch pulley out of its location?
