Hi I have a 2001 Passat and lately a light that says “ABS Brake ” light
turns on and then off right away on my dash board I was wondering if it was
a sensor or the module ?
Hi, my car makes really wierd noises when i do full stop.(only left side)
the brakes almost new, and works perfectly, but the sound is bothering me
and scares me a lil to drive. And when i start the car all my lights makes
3 bips and then turning on(check engine,air bag, brakes) … i dont know
what is it and where do i start fixing it =(( i hope u could help me . (

If the ABS is engaging when your car comes to a stop (i.e., only at very
slow speeds), a wheel speed sensor is probably signaling 0 mph. Wheel
sensors do this at low speeds when there is damage to the ABS sensor ring,
or more typically dirt or grime in the sensor house or built up in the
slots in the ring. Try cleaning your sensors and hubs very well with an
appropriate solvent and reseating the sensors snugly in their housing. Hope

I have a 98 Audi A4, 1.8L and the ABS light is on along with the brake
light blinking continuously. I wanted to remove the abs module but I’ve
heard that the brake lines will need to be bled if I do this. Is this true??
3. Wear eye protection when drilling. The video only shows me pointing the
drill to demonstrate where to make the hole and does not show me drilling
the actual hole. 4. Fully torque the lug bolts back to 89 ft. lbs. only
when the car is back on the ground (with the emergency brake still

I made this video with the intention that someone with minimal experience
and automotive knowledge could follow the instructions to remove the
module. That said, I may have taken some basic safety procedures for
granted, so here they are: 1. ALWAYS engage the emergency brake fully when
jacking the car 2. Always support the car with a appropriately rated
jackstand. NEVER rely on a hydraulic jack for support.
