HI there, I have a Golf R and do you know if these would still require the
programming or wiring to fully activate the tail lights?
I’m in Australia and the LED taillights on our Golf 7s have the single line
of amber LEDs that act as the turn signal (instead of the outer assembly
increasing brightness to “flash” like the US model and how it was shown in
this video). Would this procedure be the same for me?

If you need to re install the factory lights, does the shaving of that nub
affect plugging it back into the factory light ?
