Than you I really appriciate the comment. I wred hard on it to helpas many people out as possible.
There is another chaper way to monitor your pressure if you have an android smartphone. Buy a $15 OBD II bluetooth adpter on Amazon then download OBDlink app on your phone. This will allow you to monitor pretty much every sensor in your car real time, including your fuel pump pressure.

dubtastic says:

This has been the absolute best HPFP install video. Thank you for taking the time to do this! Is there any other methods of testing the internals for correct installation if you do not have a Cobb AP?

everythingdiy says:

Correct. They should run perfectly after that.

everythingdiy says:

Not the pump itself just the internals after you install them in the cylinder housing if that makes sense.

ReivinXL says:

I will be installing mine tomorrow so you said that I should soak the pump in oil?

Margie Padilla says:

Install them?

Margie Padilla says:

Just wanna make sure that after I soak the internals I can just int

Leigh Taylor says:

thank you bud

everythingdiy says:

Yes 18.

Leigh Taylor says:

are you sure it’s 18mm?

Roger Skagerström says:

The iPhones, as I understand it, cannot connect to the bluetooth OBD adapter (ELM327), so I don’t think there’s any software for the iOS.

everythingdiy says:

Yeah, sure. You want to get as much lubrication in these internals as possible so that they do not stick while running in your car. You want the internals to open and close with as much ease as possible. Just put the internals in a cup of oil for a few minutes and install in the pump. It’s alittle messy but good safty precation.

Victor Cortina says:

hey man great video, but the only part i didn’t understand was when you said to soak the internals in oil, can you further explain that to me please

everythingdiy says:

I think it’s 18mm.

Bikerzee24 says:

What is the size of the nut on the fuel pump that you had to use the impact drill on?

John Pizzurro says:

Good to know!! I am doing mine in the morning.

Darren Aucoin says:

Both blue and yelloe clips do NOT need to come off; they’re designed to stay on there and the lines do come off with those clips on.

The yellow clip (spill valve line) and the blue clip (fuel feed line)

everythingdiy says:

Great! Thanks for the info!

Bobby Blanton says:

1/4″ 6 point socket works the same as an e8 socket.

John Pizzurro says:

Great job man!!

everythingdiy says:

It’s called torque pro. Not sure if they have support for iOS. Look up OBD in the app store to see if there are any other options.

Kevin J says:

What’s that obd app called again that you use to monitor? I can’t find an app on iOS called OBDlink

everythingdiy says:

Los Angeles. It’s our local rock/alternative station KROQ.

Co7ton says:

Hmm 106.7 you guys from denver?

121MAST121 says:

Haha ok. I haven’t read on MSF to soak the entire thing in oil but it makes since. I’m glad someone do a video write up on this. I’m doing mine next weekend

everythingdiy says:

If I said or wrote that I meant 4th.
