I went to Audi today, they asking €900 for repair it with an original antenna.
Since I saw this excellent video, i will try it by my self. Hopefully i will succeeded.
I have Audi A6 2015 and my nav whan i press the nav key its shown : the navigation is not available .
What should i do for this my system is mmi radio
I found you can put the GPS to the left where the key goes– it has been working for a couple of weeks this way now 🙂
My 2015 A7 has same issue but the GPS sometimes can work, not always dead, it seems the software is doing something. eg. if the positioning goes wrong on one day, somehow it is recovered on the second day… what was your case? Always not working without any satellite?
hello friend I have exactly the same problem as you with the GPS, I tried putting the new maps and nothing … restart mmi and I did not think about removing the roof to access the connector under the shark fin, and I was lazy .. .until I finally found the problem and started to investigate and saw your video. exactly the same as my problem 0 SATELLITES. I'm going to buy an antenna like the one you put in, it should be the same for me at 5 b8.5 from 2014. I want to put it in the right place. My question is can I place it inside the dashboard without disassembling anything? Could you tell me how I have to do it so that I lose signal in that hidden place? or if or if I have to disassemble the entire glove compartment?

did you have errors when car was scanned? did they disappear after you changed the antenna?
Can the antenna be left hidden behind the glovebox? or do you have to attach it to front glass?
