I truly feel sorry for the weekend DIYer that follows this video as repair advice. They should really have a disclaimer on these vids "for entertainment purposes only". Plenty of better sources of information out there on repairing these engines that won't lead you down the path of having to do the job twice, or even worse a blown engine.
This guy is a hack! He didn't use the special tool "pin" to lock the crank @TDC when replacing the belt. Also, pressed the cam and crank seals in without using a special fixture to ensure one of the seal lips folds inwards and the other outwards. By just pressing them in without the fixture, both lips will fold outwards, and result in a much greater oil leak than the engine originally had. But the mother of all problems in this video is how he went about tightening the crank bolt for the timing belt cog. This engine is now officially a time bomb.
Just click fingers and the rear main seal fixes itself!
why go through so much hassle when you can just pour a £10 oil compound directly into the oil, to seal any leak, anywhere on the engine?
pregunto, vuleve Wheeler Dealers a la pantalla? Porque lei que hace de OCT 2018 no graban.
